Halloween party at the restaurant Jacks Smokehouse

23.10.2017

"Werewolves howl. Phantoms prowl. Halloween's upon us now."

Based on the Celtic festive of Samhain, Halloween developed as a celebration and commemoration of confronting dualities such as prosperity and paucity, summer and winter, ultimately and most importantly: life and death.

In those times people would light bonfires and dress up in costumes to ward off roaming ghosts.

These beliefs where brought to America by the nineteenth century Irish immigrants, where the festivity grew in popularity through the years.

Nowadays is less about the fear of ghosts and ghouls and more about costumes and candy.

Skipping the boring history lesson, we want to invite you to Jacks Smokehouse, in Puerto Banús, to enjoy a spooky party with great American food and have a blast while you share some great time with your loved ones.

I guess somehow, with the years, we've learned a lot about pleasure, enjoying ourselves and keeping our traditions alive! (the good bits at least)

Expect some freakish decoration, our usual delicious dishes of course plus some unannounced surprises!
