Cibo Italiano Restaurant introduces new menu with amazing prices

07/12/2017

A few changes have taken place at Cibo Italiano on the Golden Mile in Marbella.

Most exciting is the new menu including more of our favourite Italian dishes. The menu has been redesigned with more great, fresh, local produce and heart-warming dishes that are familiar to all Italian food lovers. And the new prices will also please.

Cibo Italiano is not just another Italian restaurant. The new menu created by Executive Chef Lawrence Otterburn incorporates authentic Italian products including Búfalo mozzarella and imported cheeses, specialty flours, and Italian beer yeast for unique stone-baked oval-shaped pizzas that make it crispy all the way through.

The concept combines modern Italian cooking such as roast pumpkin ravioli, pancetta and goats cheese fig crostini and breaded oyster mushrooms, as well as Italian favourites and classics including traditional antipasti with freshly sliced meats, and carbonara and bolognaise pasta sauces. The scampi and grilled chicken risotto is oven baked which gives a new texture to risotto served steaming hot giving you the smell of Italy as it arrives at your table.

The creative chefs have been given room to create daily specials including fresh fish, pastas and meats, changing regularly using seasonal produce. And there's the established Cibo classic Tagliolini al Tartufo Nego served at your table from a huge parmesan wheel with black truffle. Sunday's present an entrecote roast beef special.

Desserts are inspiring with homemade Pana Cotta - an original secret River Café recipe (London's first Italian Michelin star restaurant), with burnt cream, reduced to get the delicious thickness and texture, cut with the flavours of apricot jam and vanilla. Homemade profiteroles have an intense raspberry cream, sharp and sweet, smoothed out with warm chocolate.

The restaurant design gives a downtown city feel yet with informal, but professional service. It is comfortable for a business lunch as well as after-school dinner with the family or a romantic dinner on the heated terrace. The different zones include alcoves and various shaped tables for all sizes of groups.

Freshness is key. The menu concept, the produce and the service from our new management team. Cibo still maintains its international wine list. Cocktail happy hour is daily from 4 to 6pm. The house speciality, Tagliolini al Tartufo Nero is prepared in a huge parmesan wheel at your table. More regular specials from our creative chefs will also be featured.
Cibo is open daily all year for lunch and dinner.
